I love animals and am a proud cat parent to two furry rescues – 5-year-old Sherlock, originally adopted from the MSPCA in Boston, and 2-year-old Rory, adopted from Little Wanderers in NYC. My love for animals (and my own fur kids! 👀) often finds its way into my work. From managing the production of pieces like this Guide to Airport Pet-Relief Stations to including pet-friendly destinations in many of KAYAK’s travel guides, thinking about how to be the best pet parent is always top of mind for me. Catflights (Cheapflights, 2017)

I played a large role in the ideation and execution of Cheapflights’ 2017 April Fool’s Day campaign – Catflights. I also wrote the accompanying blog post, which you can find here. It aimed to engage social audiences with a love of internet cats while also showcasing the Cheapflights product.

The results included significant reach and engagement on Facebook, driving visits to the landing page and providing an opportunity for successful community engagement. The campaign also resulted in more than 30 media placements including “The Washington Post.”
